Plywood

Plywood is a type of wooden board that is thin and high strength, consisting of two or more layers glued and pressed together in the direction of the alternating grains.

Plywood has become one of the most popular building materials thanks to its useful properties such as its ability to withstand moisture. Despite being robust and versatile, plywood remains affordable and durable. From kitchen cabinets, floorings, and walls to furniture: the entire construction industry revolves around plywood. The use of plywood will only continue to increase as the global market grows because of lack of affordable and reliable alternatives.

Plain Plywood

Plain-Ply is flexible, inexpensive, workable, re-usable, and is usually manufactured locally. Plywood is used as plain wood because of its resistance to cracking, shrinkage, and twisting/warping, and its general high degree of strength.

Value Added Plywood/Fancy Plywood

Value-Added plywood, also known as decorative plywood, fancy board or composite decorative board, is made of plywood, cut veneer and imported matte paper of various colors. It is usually decorated with beautiful hardwood veneers. Fancy plywood plays a prominent role in woodworking, cabinet making and interior design. Fancy plywood uses a fine wood surface that combines the technical features of plywood to combine the beauty of fine wood at a more affordable price. It has the characteristics of realistic texture, uniform density, small thickness error, smooth surface, pollution resistance and aging resistance. It is suitable for indoor wall, cylinder, wall skirt, decorative surface decoration and furniture making.

There are a three variations of Value Added Plywood/ Fancy Plywood:

PVC Laminated

PVC laminates are multi-layered laminate sheets based on Poly Vinyl Chloride, made by compressing paper and plastic resins under high pressure and temperature. They are used as a decorative layer on top of raw surfaces such as plywood. PVC Laminated plywood is usually a more cost effective option.

Our stocks are usually in matte white surfaces, if other surfaces are required, a sample or photo would be needed to match.

Polyester Plywood

Polyester faced lightweight plywood perfect for interior applications, due to it’s Scratch-resistance, hardiness and being easy to clean. Polyester Faced Plywood is used primarily for the lining of commercial vehicles but can be used in other applications where a scratch-proof lining/ surface is required.

The core of the product is a lightweight tropical species. Combining this with the low-formaldehyde emissions from the interior glue bond makes the product perfect for vehicle lining applications in compact or enclosed environments.

Wood Veneer Plywood

In woodworking, veneer refers to thin slices of wood and sometimes bark, usually thinner than 3 mm. Our Wood Veneer plywood is a decorative layer placed on our plywood surface. Veneer is also used to replace decorative papers in Wood Veneer HPL. Veneer is also a type of manufactured board.

Our wood veneer series showcases a series of natural wood designs for usages mostly used on doors, panels for cabinets, parquet floors and different parts of furniture.
