Particle Board (PB)
Made from rubberwood chips that can no longer produce latex, is manufactured using the process of compression with a mix of resin. A particle board comprises of 3 layers. The top and bottom layer possess refined texture with the middle layer containing the wood chips whose texture is visually and physically rougher. The material is most suitable for interior decoration purposes.
High Moisture Resistant Particle Board (HMR-PB)-V313
Made of rubber wood chips with a mix of resin that renders special quality, the material is more resistant to moisture than most Particle boards. Green dye is added to differentiate the wood from other materials. The material is an ideal choice for the space of high moisture such as built-in furniture in a kitchen or restroom.
WHAT IS V313?
A Wet Cyclic Test (V313) consists of a three cycle accelerated aging treatment followed by strength testing. This 3 days immersion, 1 day frozen and 3 days heated cycle is carried out 3 times (total 21 days) and then followed by post conditioning and physical testing based on test methods specified by EN 622. PANEL PLUS HMR-PB has passed the V313 tests.
